About Vital Motion

Movement isn’t just important, it’s vital.

We help you live your best life, live healthily, build confidence and do the things you love to do for as long as you choose to do them.

Our group fitness classes are a little different from most. We’re fans of building strength as much as anyone, but fitness isn’t about always lifting the most weight or doing the most reps. It’s about feeling great while living your life.

If living that life means hiking, biking, or climbing, great! If that’s prepping for your next competition, even better. Or maybe you just want to take out your grandkids or work in the garage without a struggle.

Whatever you love to do, our classes will leave you feeling better while doing it.

  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from University of Louisville

What I love most is seeing people notice a change in their daily life. Take my dad, for example. After he started working out, he would notice simple things, like being able to go up and down the stairs without having difficulty breathing. Or he could work in the garage and change his car’s oil without any problem.

Obviously, it’s awesome when people lose weight, hit a PR, or reach similar goals. We love that! But for them to experience improvements in their day-to-day life is ultimately the most rewarding thing about what I do. I want to help people live their best life, be healthy and confident, and do the activities they love to do for as long as they want to do them.

My advice to anyone who wants to get healthier is to change one thing at a time. It all starts with one small step in the right direction.

I love being a coach because of the people and the relationships you develop. Seeing the progress students make not just physically, but also mentally. One area you can make huge progress in is your mental strength and toughness. Physical changes are nice, of course!

If I could share one piece of fitness advice, it’s that you’re never too late. You can always improve your diet, exercise routine, flexibility and more, no matter what stage of life you’re in.
